Every day this week the Department of Geography, Geoinformatics and Meteorology, together with the South African Association of Polar Early Career Scientistis (APECSSA) will host a lunch-time lecture in room 1-2 of the Geography Building. Lectures are given by Principal Investigators and students from various South African polar research programmes, covering topics in Antarctica and sub-Antarctic Marion Island and each lecture will run from 12:30-13:20, Monday to Friday (17-21 September). All are welcome! Let's celebrate South Affrican Polar Research and the contribution South Africans have made in these fields!
