Admission Requirements

  1. Relevant honours degree or relevant four-year bachelor’s degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health (UPOnline)
  2. A weighted average of at least 60% for the honours degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health or a cumulative weighted average of at least 60% for the four-year bachelor's degree 

Selection Process

Additional selection criteria (each on a scale of one to five)::

  • National/international need for public health
  • Public health or Social Community development related employment
  • Track record - e.g. employment, academic, community-building, etc
  • Final selection depends on  the overall selection score obtained
  • An interview may be requested for final selection
