The Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Pretoria has established the Life Changers Fund to support students in covering their education costs and associated expenses. This fund is dedicated to helping students afford university fees and essential resources needed to complete their training in the current year and beyond.

The bulk of the funds will be allocated to supporting tuition fees, ensuring that students can focus on their studies without the burden of financial stress. Additionally, the fund will assist students facing difficulties due to their disadvantaged backgrounds, who experience significant financial challenges that adversely impact their academic performance. This support aims to help these students make necessary adjustments and meet the demands of their studies without worrying about tuition fees. Some funds may also be used to cover unexpected costs, such as transportation or other unforeseen
expenses.

The Life Changers Fund is committed to providing solid support in the current economic environment, which continues to be challenging for many students. This fund ensures that students receive the necessary assistance to thrive academically and successfully complete their training.

This is thus an appeal to you to consider contributing to the Student Solidarity Fund to not only help qualify this year's cohort in the current academic year but also provide for the needs of future generations.
