Prof Elma van der Lingen, Chair: GSTM would like to congratulate the GSTM team for winning GYSEOY (Greatest Young Systems Engineer Of the Year)  award at the INCOSE SA Annual Conference. The team members were Justinge Nanfuka, Aubrey Nxumalo and Bernard Musewu.

The GYSEOY is an INCOSE SA initiative to train and mentor young systems engineers in a competitive format. Justine was also awarded the trophy for the Sharpest Young Systems Engineer for the competition.

The GYSEOY challenge fosters interest, insight and skill in System Engineering in young South African engineers. Teams of young engineers from different industries and organisations compete to be the Greatest Young Systems Engineers of the year. GYSEOY is an opportunity for young engineers to develop and showcase their Systems Engineering skill and for organisations to foster and develop mentorship of the engineering knowledge pool.
