Welcome to EBIT Academic Advising, the home of your Academic Success Coaches.

Navigating university life can be challenging and overwhelming. Your academic success coaches are here to support you by facilitating a partnership that will aid you in adjusting and managing the challenges that come with being an EBIT Student.

The main Objective of advising in EBIT is to support you in establishing firm educational goals and equip you with the knowledge, skills and resources to make your academic journey a success.

We believe in empowering students with all necessary tools early on in their journey so they can graduate in minimum time. 

You are never alone in your quest of innovating your tomorrow, reach out, get support and make a success of your academic journey.

Academic Success Coaches (ASC) also serve as a referral base to a variety of support services and stakeholders available to you as a registered student, see a few listed below:

Student Admin

Faculty Student Administration can assist you with admission inquiries, internal transfer applications, module registration and/or deregistration, accreditation, sick test/exam inquiries, chancellor's exams, exclusion holds, transfer and confirming the number of modules and credits registered for.
Student Counselling Unit

Student Counselling Unit

All UP registered students have access to free student counselling services. The unit is staffed with highly qualified professionals ranging from student psychologist, registered counsellors and registered psychologists. The SCU offers a variety of mental health products and services to all students in UP.
Student Health Services

Student Health Services

Student Health Services (SHS) renders accessible and comprehensive primary health care services, including health promotion programs to all registered-UP students. They are equipped with experienced Medical Doctors, Professional nurses, Optometrists, Dietitians and HIV Counselors.

The University of Pretoria has an institutional commitment to ensuring an integrated and inclusive learning experience for students with disabilities, therefore, the Disability Unit aims to create an enabling environment by providing support to students with disabilities.
