On Friday, 11 November 2022, the Department of Electrical, Electronic, and Computer Engineering in
the Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment and Information Technology hosted their final year
project competition. It was attended by industry collaborators of the department as well as UP staff
and students. Industry experts were invited to judge the projects and prize sponsorships were
received from Etion, Rapid Mobile, Eskom, and Exxaro.
The students who received awards, the title of their projects, and their supervisors are
