Prof VSS Yadavalli, head of the Department of Industrial Engineering was recently rated by the National Research Foundation.

He received a B-level rating, indicating that he is an internationally acclaimed researcher.

His areas of expertise include Operations research, Statistics and probability, Bayesian statistics, Reliability engineering and Inventory management.

Rated researchers are acknowledged for their excellent achievements during a virtual award ceremony that will take place on Thursday 28 October 2021.
