Professor Ina Fourie, head of department of Information Science, received her NRF (National Research Foundation) rating of B2. A B2 rating refers to all or the majority of the reviewers are thoroughly satisfied that the applicant has significant international recognition for the high quality and impact of their research outputs.
Associate professor Marlene Holmner, package coordinator of the undergraduate Information Science degree, received her C2 NRF rating, confirming her to be an established researcher in her research field of information science, and education in information science.
