On the cutting edge of data visualisation

Ms Danielle Carrick, an information designer from GfK Consumer Experiences North America in New York, presented a lecture to the MPhil Marketing Research students while she was hosted by the Department of Marketing Management on 16 and 17 October 2015.

The lecture focused on the design of data experiences that are meaningful to clients, state of the art data visualisation techniques and converting results into insights with the aid of data visualisation.

At GfK Consumer Experiences North America, Danielle is responsible for converting research results into stories that engage clients with the aid of dashboards, presentations, videos and microsites. She regularly presents training courses to marketing researchers, focusing on data visualisation and the communication of research results.

The MPhil Marketing Research programme is offered by the Department in collaboration with GfK Verein.
