The Albert Luthuli Centre for Responsible Leadership publishes important report

Posted on June 09, 2015

The Albert Luthuli Centre for Responsible Leadership (ALCRL) is proud to present its second annual report, entitled ‘Creating Value: Reflections from the ALCRL 2013/2014’. It reflects the extend to which the ALCRL has created value through its activities and achievements. Furthermore, it forms part of the ALCRL’s critical introspections on whether the value that was created has longevity and has indeed benefited all stakeholders.

Having coined the theme of this report “Creating Value”, the ALCRL’s Director Prof Derick de Jongh acknowledges that creating value puts one in a rather precarious position.

“In a way one suggests that we did indeed create value during the reporting period. We live and work in a field where the term ‘value’ is often used with great ambition and quite often with very little actual evidence. It is therefore a risky claim to make that the Centre has created value, but we believe there is indeed evidence in this report pointing to that,” he noted.

This second annual report has been distributed widely to local and international stakeholders and has already received very positive feedback from many such stakeholders.
