BSc (Hons) Food Science

I completed my degree in BSc Food science in 2018 and thereafter completed my BSc (Hon) Food Science in 2019. My BSc Honors research project was focused on the effect of cooking and germination on the proximate composition, phenolic content and antioxidant activity of cowpea (Vigna unguiculata (L.) Walp). I completed my research under the supervision of Prof KG Duodu and co-supervision of Dr T Shoko.

I am currently employed at Jumbo Brands in the Research and Development department to gain more experience. I hope to continue and build my career further in the Research and Development part of Food Science.
