This public debate, which focuses on current research on just energy transition, will explore the complexities of South Africa's energy transformation while highlighting the potential socioeconomic buffer the global coal trade may offer. The debate seeks to investigate how South Africa can strategically position itself in the changing global energy landscape by promoting a thoughtful conversation.
