You are cordially invited to a seminar on Research, Development, and Innovation on Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Technologies in South Africa, where UP's Professor Mike Sathekge, Head of Nuclear Medicine in the Faculty of Health Sciences and Chair of the ASSAf Study Panel, will be a keynote speaker at the hybrid event.

The University of Johannesburg Nuclear Research Centre and the Energy Expert Panel of the South African Academy of Engineering (SAAE), in association with the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEE) Power & Energy Section, its Nuclear Chapter and Bio Medical Engineering Chapter, will host the Academy of Science of South Africa (ASSAf) in sharing the recommendations for human capacity development and infrastructure as stated in the ASSAf Nuclear Technologies Study. This symposium serves as a contribution towards deepening value extraction in the national interest.
