23 September 1977: UP’s own traffic officer. On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria" the student newspaper, Die Perdeby, reported that UP has appointed a permanent traffic officer to police the traffic on campus.

12 September 2008: Audiences attended the Principal’s concert celebrating UP’s century. This "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria" ended with a performance by the UP choir and orchestra in the Aula.
