17 September 2003: Tuks women's rugby team makes history. On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria” KampusBeeld reported that the UP team was the only university club that managed to win the club championships.

In a spectacular ending to the championship the Tukkies’s female team beat the Naka Bulls 34 to 22 .
