UP Archives Photo collection: Campus history through a lens

The UP Archives photographic collection spans from the University’s founding years up until Tukkie’s very recent past. This collection includes photos depicting formal events and University milestones as well as photos capturing the expanding campus and its vibrant student life.

While some photos were taken by official photographers the Archives also has a growing collection of photos taken by students, personnel, alumni and the general public.

The University of Pretoria Archives photographic collection is a fast increasing collection and new photographs are added on a weekly basis.
