ADEANS IV Conference

The Analysis and Differential Equations with Applications IV (ADEANS IV)
Conference is organized by the CoE-MaSS, the University of Pretoria and the
University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban. This is the fourth edition in the
successful series of ADEANS conferences that have been running since 2016.
It provides a platform for researchers to interact on a broad theoretical and
analytical basis on many aspects of applied mathematics and to exchange ideas
between diverse fields. The main topics of the conference include
• Finite and infinite dimensional dynamical systems
• Spectral theory of operators
• Analytic methods in ordinary and partial differential equations
• Symmetry analysis of differential equations
• Applications to Physical and Life Sciences, Economy, Social Sciences
The conference is aimed at staff, postgraduate students and emerging
researchers in these fields. We plan some short courses of lectures given by
researchers from South Africa and abroad, who will provide surveys of selected
topics from the foundations to cutting edge results. These will allow students
and emerging researchers to learn about new tools and perspectives in the field.
The programme will include invited lectures and contributed talks.
