Professor Beth le Roux, head of the Publishing Studies division from the Department of Information Science, received a NRF B2 rating.

The NRF rating system is an important propeller in the NRF’s aim to build a globally competitive research structure in South Africa. It is a benchmarking tool that assesses the quality of South Africa’s researchers against the best internationally. This prestigious rating means that the researcher has a very strong international recognition of their work.
