Professor Archie Dick’s popular article titled How the article regime burnt books – in their tens of thousands has been republished in The Conversation. The article first appeared on 24 October 2018.
Prof. Dick describes that in the 1970s thousands of books and magazines from Pretoria’s Central Police Station was transported outside the South African capital, where they were dropped into a 20 metre high oven. Please visit The Conversation to read the full article.
