Many of our Staff members are involved in Community Service in their private capacity.
The following are some of the projects they support:
Together with the support of corporates, schools and volunteers, the Sweethearts provide wheelchairs to those in need through the Tops & Tags initiative where plastic bottle tops and bread tags are recycled in exchange for wheelchairs. Ever wondered how many are needed for ONE wheelchair? Either 200 kg bread tags or 400 kg bottle tops. So YES, every ONE of them counts.
As part of choirs Staff members use their talent to uplift the lives of others in the community.
Some of them are or have been choir members of the University of Pretoria’s choirs, The University’s choirs, University of Pretoria Jacaranda Children’s Choir, University of Pretoria Youth Choir, Tuks Camerata and UP Ovuwa Cultural Ensemble, enrich the lives of the broader community through their singing.
