Ms. Smith joined the department in mid-2014 as an assistant lecturer. Before this, she was employed as a Multimedia design intern at EPI-USE. She is currently completing her doctoral studies at Tampere University in Finland under the supervision of Prof. Juho Hamari, Dr. Daniel Fernández Galeote and Dr. Zampeta Legaki, as a member of the Gamification Group. Her studies focus on the effective use of gamification in flipped classroom environments in higher education.
