Prof Irma Eloff, Dean of the Faculty of Education, was invited by the World Education Research Association (WERA) to deliver a keynote address during the 4th Multidisciplinary International Conference on Education Research (CIMIE), held in Valencia, Spain in July 2015. The title of the address was 'Transformation and social justice in teacher education in an emerging democracy'.
As indicated by its name, the annual CIMIE conference in Spain focuses on research in education. This year the Conference was attended by more than a thousand delegates representing 153 universities in 29 countries.
