Dear UP Community,

As we sign out and close this chapter of our journey, we do so with full hearts and deep gratitude. Being part of UP RAG has never been about titles or positions — it has always been about people, passion, and purpose. Together, we built something that will continue to echo long after our term has ended.

"Best team emhlabeni" (best team in the world) —  was never just a chant. It was a promise, a mindset, and the heartbeat of our team. From our very first meeting to our very last outreach, those words echoed in everything we did. This year has been filled with long nights, laughter, tough decisions, and unforgettable memories. They reminded us that even when things felt heavy, even when challenges loomed large, we were never alone. We were part of something bigger, something stronger.

To our subcouncil, partners, and the wider UP community — thank you for walking alongside us, for believing in our vision, and for helping us make “Reach out And Give” a lived reality. Your support gave meaning to every step of this journey. You believed in us, stood with us, and helped shape the legacy of this committee. 

As we close this chapter, we do so with gratitude and pride. The flame of RAG will continue to burn brightly, carried by those who come after us. And while our term may be over, we leave knowing we were part of the of something bigger than us.
