Kagiso: Sanele Siza (He/Him)

Kagiso — meaning peace or to build captures the essence of UP RAG. The Kagiso officer is the teacher of community engagement — it aims to educate students and the community about the importance of community engagement and developing sustainable and long-term community partnerships. Their initiatives are centered around empowerment — such as skills training and educational outreach. They guide the committee in understanding what meaningful, respectful, and lasting community work looks like. Their role is to build with intention and teach others how to do the same.
