Extraordinary Professor, and former head of department in Information Science, Archie Dick, will be presenting and critically engaging at a global conversation among information scholars on the Sankofa Black Studies and Diasporic Futures on 23 March 2022.

Professor Dick will be joined by Professor Emeritus Abdul Alkalimat, from the Department of African American Studies and School of Information Sciences, University of Illinois, as well as Paulette Kerr, a Campus Librarian at the University of the West Indies Monda. The conversation will be moderated by Professor Rebecca Hankins from Texas A&M University Libraries.
