Lecturer contributes chapter to newly published Routledge Handbook of Literary Translingualism

Jana Klingenberg, lecturer in the Publishing Studies sub-discipline, contributed a chapter called Literary Translingualism in a Multilingual Society: South Africa's Publishing Landscape. To the newly published Routledge Handbook Literary Translingualism, edited by Steven Kellman and Natash Lvovich. This book is published as part of the Routledge Literature Handbooks series.

The chapter focuses on the unique situation regarding translingualism in the South African publishing industry, examining the growth of literature in different languages in South Africa's publishing history and how this has impacted on the prevalence of translingualism today. The chapter is also the only contributions on literary translingualism in Africa.
