Ms Lisa Thompson graduated with a MIS from the University of KZN after also obtaining her BA, HDE and BEd and HDLS from the same university.
After she lectured at a teachers’ training college in Kwa-Zulu Natal she worked as a professional librarian in a number of libraries before joining our Department of Information Science in 1999. Over the years she lectured a wide range of Information Science modules at undergraduate and honours level.
Thank you, Lisa, for almost 22 years and we wish you all the best for the future.
