Mr. Wilem-Jan (WeeJee) Olwagen, creator of the cartoon series Die Lewe is ’n Kaaskrul was interviewed by the television program Kwêla. They were interested in how he juggles his ‘serious’ job at the University while also working on his cartoon series - a little ridiculous in nature - that appears in the JIP on Mondays in Die Beeld and Die Burger as well as on his website, http://www.kaaskrul.com.
The interview took place at the University’s main campus where Mr. Olwagen prepares for lectures and also at his home where they then interviewed him about his cartoons and where he gets his ideas from.
The interview will air on kykNET on Wednesday, 24 Feb at 20:00, on Kwêla.
