The Department of Information Science undertakes contract research and work falling within the extended scope of our expertise. That includes work done in the African Centre of Excellence for Information Ethics (ACEIE) and the Virtual Reality and Interaction Lab.
Staff members from the Department of Information Science also have experience in contract work and research such as research on internet censorship, and also the Annual book industry survey conducted by Publishing Studies on behalf of PASA.

Most contract research are conducted under the auspices of Enterprises University of Pretoria and must be approved by the HoD, the Dean and other relevant University authorities, as well as by Enterprises University of Pretoria.
