Above normal rainfall expected over the Lowveld and northern Namibia during late autumn. Below normal rainfall is predicted over the larger part of the region, including the winter rainfall region of the SW Cape. Also, caution is advised as the forecasts’ skill remains low over the region during this time of the year.
Lastly, above normal maximum temperatures over the entire region are highly likely during the forecast period.
