On 28 & 29 July, exceptional achievers from a variety of schools were invited to the University as part of a JuniorTukkie event. This was the first in-person marketing event targeting scholars and hosted by the University since the pandemic and University members and scholars alike looked forward to the event. On these days, scholars were exposed to the various faculties and departments housed at the University. 

Students and staff from the Department took part in the event and spoke to the scholars about our programs and the various study and career opportunities that await graduates from the BSc Geography & Environmental Science, BSc Geoinformatics, and BSc Meteorology degrees.
