The November Seasonal Forecast Worx predicts that predominantly favourable rains are expected over the larger part of the forecast region, except for the Southwestern and Southern Cape, and the northwest and northeast of the SADC region at first.

The forecasts further predict that cooler than normal maximum temperatures are expected from mid-summer to the end of the forecast period in the Central, Eastern and Northern parts. Higher than normal maximum temperatures are expected over the western parts, including the SW Cape and the far northeastern parts.

Finally, the tailored forecasts agree with the rainfall forecasts for Southern Africa. These include; increased farm rainfall and crop yield, increased malaria occurrence over Limpopo, increased inflow into Lake Kariba and increased outflow from the Vaal Dam.
