Seasonal forecast for March 2021 available

Posted on March 16, 2021

The UP model predicts ENSO-neutral conditions for winter and spring. Parts of the central area are predicted to receive above-normal rainfalls for the late summer. There is also a chance that the southwestern Cape may be wet this winter. And with cooler maximum autumn temperatures predicted over the region, a cold start to winter is likely. This excludes the Limpopo Province and adjacent areas.
