Grade 12 learners from across the country that have been conditionally accepted into their first year of study in 2020 visited UP on Saturday, 17 August to hear why they should choose UP. Students were given tours of the campuses and residences, as well as hear from our lectures why choosing UP’s Department of Geography, Geoinformatics and Meteorology is the right way to go. An information booth provided prospective students and their parents with a chance to chat with both lecturers and students from our department to hear why they should #ChooseUP. Some of these learners placed pins to show us where they come from and it is clear that UP attracts students from far and wide.
