Mrs. Sabatine Carvalio-Zongo is a dedicated lecturer in the Family Medicine Department at the University of Pretoria. Her areas of expertise encompass clinical medicine, higher education, HIV/AIDS management, and project management. She holds a BCMP and a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education from the University of Pretoria, a Post graduate diploma in HIV/AIDS management, an MPhil in HIV/AIDS Management from Stellenbosch University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management from Mancosa. Her interests include curriculum development, facilitation of learning, assessment, mentorship, educational technology, and research. Mrs. Carvalio-Zongo's project management skills are advanced and include scope scheduling, stakeholder engagement, communications management, risk management, quality assurance, and finance management. Mrs Sabatine Carvalio- Zongo is deeply passionate about nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals. This involves instilling a thorough understanding of medical principles, fostering critical thinking, and encouraging compassionate patient care. She is dedicated to integrating cutting-edge medical research with practical clinical skills, ensuring students are well-prepared to address complex health challenges. Beyond academic teaching she inspires students to engage in lifelong learning and contribute meaningfully to the field of medicine and the well-being of the communities they serve.
