AitaHealth on CNN

In the National Health Insurance approach, Community Health Workers visit clients at their homes, schools or workplaces and collect their vital information on the AitaHealthTM app in real time.

Reaching people at their homes means that they can be given assistance before they need hospital care.

Many people are not in the health system, because they cannot access the health facilities – it should be possible to close this gap by using the AitaHealthTM app.

Working on this microlevel means that intervention must be done on a large scale to make an impact. This is made possible by the telecom company, Vodacom.

Aggregating information in this way makes targeted intervention possible where it is needed most.

The goal is a much healthier society.
