It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our dear colleague, Mr. Simon Masombuka.

Simon was born on 27 April 1979 and joined the University on 9 November 2007, where he served EECE as a Senior Laboratory Technician.

Simon was an important part of our electrical team and was known for his smile, kindness and dedication to supporting both our staff and students. His will be deeply missed, and his presence in our department will not be forgotten.
