In cooperation with Future Africa, GEN-U and UNICEF, young female early career and doctorate researchers collaborated in a webinar series aimed at transdisciplinary research capacity development in September, October and November 2021. In the first of the four-part webinar series, early career and doctoral women researchers worldwide participated in an interactive webinar to co-construct content for a two-part webinar series that took place in October 2021 based on what they thought to be most significant in the field of transdisciplinary research.

This webinar focussed on an introduction to transdisciplinary research and transdisciplinary research as a science that matters. The subsequent October webinar focussed on themes of transdisciplinarity during a panel discussion. The panel discussion oversaw the theme of transdisciplinary networks and training in Africa and worldwide.
