The Group is established in the Ekurhuleni District in South Africa in collaboration with the University of Pretoria for the improvement of maternal, fetal, newborn, children and women health (MFNCWH). It aspires to develop a knowledge-based exchange platform for MFNCWH at a primary level of care which could be used by the district clinical specialist team and other health professionals, managers, policymakers, researchers and the community for the exchange of information and knowledge and eventually to translate that knowledge for developing evidence-based guidelines, protocols, recommendations, and standards for quality clinical care.
The Group would like to promote professional cultural and ethical conduct and a robust and transparent approach to the production of high-quality, accurate information for its stakeholders from its affiliated hospitals, clinics and health services. The Group would like to learn from the other centres affiliated with JBI for review, transfer and implementation of evidence in a most effective and efficient way. Main page
