A complete version of the PPIP Training Package is included on the CD, as well as the South African Facility List (January 2010 version) and four important clinical references, namely the South African IMCI Chart Booklet (2009); the Primary Care EDL (2008); the Paediatric EDL (2006); and the WHO Pocketbook of Hospital Care for Children.

Using these references in conjunction with the PPIP mortality review process should assist with improving the quality of care for children in your hospital and its drainage area.
