Dr Johan Thom a senior Fine Arts lecturer from the University of Pretoria is currently exhibiting at the Goodman Gallery Johannesburg. Thom’s work is a mixture of irony, dark humour and light tragedy. His work comments on the self as arbiter of knowledge and source of agency.

Two Fine Arts students from the University of Pretoria are finalists of the 2015 PPC Imaginarium Award. Zelda Stroud, a Masters student, and Kimberly Morrow, a Fourth year student both entered the sculpture category and is therefore awarded to participate in the PPC Imaginarium exhibition.

Celeste Theron, a Fourth year Fine Art student from the University of Pretoria’s Department of Visual Arts, will be exhibiting work at the Design Indaba this year. Theron was selected on the basis of SHE, a water awareness project that focuses on the Apies River in Pretoria.
