Two Fine Arts students from the University of Pretoria are finalists of the 2015 PPC Imaginarium Award. Zelda Stroud, a Masters student, and Kimberly Morrow, a Fourth year student both entered the sculpture category and is therefore awarded to participate in the PPC Imaginarium exhibition. Zelda Stroud was also the runner-up of the PPC Young Sculpture Awards in 2012.
PPC Imaginarium aims to promote and support emerging artists from South Africa by hosting one of the country’s largest art competitions with categories such as Sculpture, Jewellery, Architecture, Industrial design, Film, and Fashion. The PPC Imaginarium finalist exhibition will take place from the 23rd of January to the 13th of February 2015 at the University of Johannesburg gallery and at the Design Indaba Expo from the 27th February to the 1st March 2015, where the overall winner of R100 000 will be announced.
The final exhibition will take place at the Young Blood Gallery at 70 Bree Street in Cape Town, from the 5th of March to the 21st of March 2015.
