In a heartwarming display of community spirit and generosity, the UPRAG recently visited a local home ( Tshwane Haven) in Pretoria, spreading joy and support to the children through a meaningful charity event. 

The initiative, held on March 8, saw UPRAG’s dedicated team arriving at the home with a variety of essential items, including food packs and other necessities. The donation aimed to provide immediate relief and support to those in need, demonstrating UPRAG’s commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of Pretoria’s underserved communities.

The charity event was not only about providing material aid but also about fostering a sense of community and connection, the UPRAG team offered their services in a variety of ways. The ECs and GCs engaged with the children at the home, organizing playful activities and games that brought smiles and laughter to young faces.

In addition to their playful interactions, the EC and GC team dedicated their time to cleaning and beautifying the yard. Their efforts were met with enthusiasm and gratitude from the home’s residents, who expressed their appreciation for the transformative impact on their living environment.
