On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria" UP’s Rugby team beat the Potchefstroom Rugby team at the Varity Cup.

The Perdeby (today PDBY) reported that the Tuks team beat Potch 40-20 at the Tuks Rugby stadium on 20 Februry 2012. Tuks scored the first try of the game Clayton Blommetjies was recognized as “Man of the Match”.
