A day in the life at the University of Pretoria. 25 January 1989

On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria", an art exhibits by Barbara Tyrell was opened in the Old Arts building on the Hatfield campus.

Tyrell’s drawings and paintings focused on the ingenious dress and her work documents in detail life in Africa, especially that of the isiZulu.  The UP exhibit on 25 January 1989 displayed some of Tyrell’s art along with traditional African crafts.
