A Day in the Life of the University of Pretoria. 28 August 1981

On this “Day in the life at the University of Pretoria” UP’s pedal car team, team UFO, won all the intervarsity races, including the final race in Durban.

The newspaper reported that after a grueling six-hour race on a wet track, UP’s Engineering team won. Teams from the residences of Boekenhout, Kollege, Erika, Olienhout and Klaradyn also competed. Erika finished second in the female pedal car team race.
