A Day in the Life of the University of Pretoria. 15 September 1967

On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria” the Prime Minister opened the Basic Medical Sciences Building on the medical campus.

Consisting of seven floors, this was the biggest and most expensive building that the University had built at the time. The Basic Medical Sciences Building had offices, lecture halls, a medical library, museum, cafeteria and relaxation areas.
