A day in the life at the University of Pretoria. 05 September 1991

On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria" the Perdeby, student newspaper, reported on racist remarks made by a UP student.

A former UP Student Representative Council (SRC) member had proclaimed his hatred for white people on Facebook. Although he apologised for his post, he was suspended from the SRC with immediate effect and was found guilty on three counts of misconduct according to the SRC code of conduct. Furthermore, a case of intimidation was opened against the student at the Brooklyn Police Station.
