A day in the life at the University of Pretoria. 13 May 1961

On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria" students from the Faculty of Health Sciences took part in the annual inter-medical cultural and sports day. The events on this day took place on the Onderstepoort Campus.

Various competitions took place between the Medical, Veterinary Science, Dentistry and nursing students including soccer, hockey and rugby. The School of Dentistry won the tug-of war competition. The student newspaper, Die Perdeby, reported that the rugby matches between the students attracted the most spectators.
