A day in the life at the University of Pretoria. 11 March 1994

On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria" the student newspaper, the Perdeby, reported on the repair done on the Rautenbach hall.

The newspaper reported that a water pipe burst under the floor of the Rembrandt Hall because of the ground moving under the Tukkie’s sport centrum.  This ground movement placed a lot of pressure on the underground plumbing network. UP’s Facilities Department send a specialist team to quickly assess and repair the damage. The article reporting on this event is featured above.
